Case study

renovating the Doxiadis building

This architectural visualization project was done in collaboration with Divercity architects. FORM.Addicts was asked to create the night view of the building facade, in order to be used as the key imagery in the final presentation.

In the foothills of Mount Lycabettus, this luxury housing complex consists of 4 multi-storey buildings containing 25 lofts, apartments, duplexes, penthouses, and townhouses. A 1950s landmark, the site was the headquarters of Constantinos Doxiadis, one of the leading figures of modern Greek architecture. The building also housed Greece’s first design school and first computer, which provided inspiration for the pixelated images of the surrounding pine forest imprinted onto the concrete facade.

The final image was displayed in the Venice and Skopje architecture biennale as part of Divercity’s presentation. It was also published and mentioned in several printed and digital media.
